The Goldman Tennis Center’s USTA Team Captains got together on May 11th for some fast-action triples. Teams were composed of at least three players who rotated positions after every point. The game also involved using an orange ball to equalize varying skill levels. The party ended with pizza and prizes! The Tennis Coalition SF and Lifetime hosted the event to thank all the captains for continuing to take on the tough job of leading teams.
"Captaining is a tough job and I’ve never seen captains celebrated so wonderfully,” said Mary Anne Ruyle, veteran captain of USTA teams. "Imagine all of the captains we’ll have if you keep spoiling us like this!”
