The 2nd Annual US Open Watch Party was held on Saturday, September 7 at the brand new Chase Center. The massive screen and beautiful plaza layout made for amazing viewing of the US Open Women's Final. People of all ages had a blast playing on the mini tennis court, taking photos with Warriors players, and cheering on Serena and Bianca (but mostly Serena) with hundreds of fellow fans.
Volunteers for the Campaign for Golden Gate Park Tennis Center came out to raise awareness of the Campaign and of SF Rec & Park's Tennis & Learning Center program. The party was a fantastic opportunity to share our excitement with a whole new audience about the future of GGPTC and public tennis in San Francisco.
